An Unusual Zikr

Allah tells us in the Quran:

“Then remember Me, I will remember you.”(2:152)

"Who have believed and whose hearts have rest in the remembrance of Allah. Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest (13:28)

Our Prophet (saw) told us that Allah has said:

“I am with My servant when he remembers Me and his lips move making mention of Me.” (Bukhari) Our Prophet (saw) also said: “A man does nothing more calculated to rescue him from Allah’s punishment than making mention of Allah.” (Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)

                            No protection except from Allah, the All Guardian

The meaning of this verse of the Holy Qur'an

Chapter (53) sūrat l-najm (The Star)

Sahih International: Of it, [from those] besides Allah , there is no remover.

Pickthall: None beside Allah can disclose it.

Yusuf Ali: No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare.

Shakir: There shall be none besides Allah to remove it.

Muhammad Sarwar: No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship.

Mohsin Khan: None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it).

Arberry: apart from God none can disclose it.
