We have to start things; big things like projects, education, and small things like simply eating a meal of food.
In all of this, it is important to acknowledge the creator who gave us life and the power to complete all or actions.
And so we begin with:
Bismillāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm
"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the most Merciful".
We acknowledge that our life, our strength and the ability to complete all actions depend upon the one who gave life and will call us back when the time that we have spent here has expired.
