Eid ul Adha is tomorrow and is referred to, as the greater Eid. Many persons refer to it as Qurbani which means sacrifice.
The Prophet Ibrahim was asked to sacrifice that which he loved the most. He had loved his son the most.
Eid ul Adha commemorates the willingness of Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) to sacrifice his son, Ismail (a.s) as an act of obedience to Allah Aza Wa Jal.
In remembrance of the Prophet Ibrahim (a.s), we must also sacrifice what we think we love the most in obedience to Allah Aza Wa Jal
